Welcome to SimplTasks. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SimplTasks task management application, including our website at simpl-tasks.com, mobile apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and admin dashboard at admin.simpl-tasks.com (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by Strategy Advisory Solutions Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), a company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.

Account Creation

You must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information including your full name and a valid email address.

Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content.
• Upload files containing viruses, malware, ransomware, or any malicious code.
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or server infrastructure.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) without express written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Send unsolicited communications, spam, or phishing.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without a separate agreement.

The Service, including its content, features, design, source code, logos, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Strategy Advisory Solutions Inc. and its licensors. The SimplTasks name and logo are trademarks. Any feedback you provide may be used without restriction or compensation.

You retain ownership of all "User Content" (data, text, files, documents, images, task descriptions, project information) you upload or create. By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process it solely for providing the Service.

The Service integrates with MongoDB Atlas, Firebase, OneSignal, and Brevo. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.

You may terminate your account at any time via our Data Deletion Request page. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.00.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Strategy Advisory Solutions Inc. from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes shall be brought in the courts of Ontario, sitting in Toronto. For EU users, mandatory consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

We will post revisions on this page and notify active users via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
